1:00-2:30pm Group rehearsals schedule in GYM @RSHS:

1:00 pm Building doors open at GYM side for early load-in as needed (also Dance Room and Assembly Hall spaces can be used for informal practices)

2:00 - 2:30pm Arama Odori (musicians & dancers)


#MIBON2025 Preview/Dress Rehearsal in GYM @RSHS:

2:30 - 3:00pm ALL Performers* to arrive by 2:30pm to finish load-in/setup; guests welcome to enter

3:00 - 3:45pm Taiko Performance for #MIBON2025 by GLTC Taiko Arts Collective

3:45 - 4:15pm Break / Try Taiko in the GYM (Bon Dance Team rehearsal in Dance Room or Assembly Hall)

4:15 - 5:00pm MI Bon Dances for #MIBON2025 with special guest artists

5:00 - 6:00pm Pack up and load out. See you next week at Cranbrook!

*MI Bon Performers: Please bring any assigned equipment and wear your MI Bon costume for dress rehearsal.

Join in our community gathering with Eien on SUN 9/8 (5:30-8pm) to share in a potluck dinner (5:30-6:30pm), demonstration by the Edo Kotobuki Jishi group (6:30-7pm), and informal sharing/drumming (7-8pm) with other GLTC members and groups.

SCHEDULE of activities on SUN 8/4 @RSHS including preparation for #MIBON2024:

11:00am - 1:45pm Small group practice (Edo Kotobuki Jishi) in Dance Room @RSHS (11:00-11:40am alternate group practice in Assembly Hall)

Dress Rehearsal in GYM @RSHS / Public Preview (3-5p) in Ann Arbor for #MIBON2024:

2:00pm Taiko Performers arrive to load-in, setup, walk through program*

3:00 - 5:00pm Taiko Performance for #MIBON2024 public preview followed by MI Bon Dance Workshop

5:00 - 6:00pm Small group practice (Summer Song) in GYM
