Novi’s Sizzling Summer Art & Culture Series 2025 will feature Taiko performances by our Tanoshii Taiko Tai (T3) community group and Godaiko Drummers ensemble on Friday, June 27th at Fuerst Park ampitheater. Also on the program are the Novi Japanese Youth Hip Hop Club & Sakura Japanese Instrumental Group!

Novi Parks & Rec: 2025 Sizzling Summer Art & Culture Series!

Get ready for a summer bursting with creativity, rhythm, and community! Join us for six free hands-on arts workshops offered in collaboration with the Detroit Institute of Arts. June's events feature a presentation with live owls and hawks on June 11 from The Avian Experience with a clay owl project and a Japanese paper fan making class on June 18. And don't miss our cultural dance performance events at Fuerst Park! The June 27 dance performance kicks off with Novi's own Japanese Youth Hip Hop Dance Club (you guys. they are so dang cute, it's the best thing ever.) followed by performances by instrumental group Sakura and Great Lakes Taiko.
