Join us for our 3rd Annual Japanese Bon Festival at Cranbrook #MIBON2025 on Sunday, August 10th 2025 (12-4pm ET) at the Cranbrook Japanese Garden in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan.

Our Michigan Bon Summer Festival 2025 is a community event co-hosted by Great Lakes Taiko Center (GLTC) and the Cranbrook Center for Collections and Research (CCCR).

Festivities will be held on the historic grounds of the Cranbrook Japanese Garden (indoors at the Center for Performing Arts in case of rain) with FREE parking/shuttle, garden tours, food options, and cultural activities for all ages.

MI Bon Dancing for all will take place in the meadow at 1pm & 3pm. Great Lakes Taiko Drumming performance will take place at 2pm. Cultural booths and a kids tent with activities, along with food truck and offerings will also be available throughout the festival.
