Join us for our 3rd Annual Japanese Bon Festival at Cranbrook #MIBON2025 on Sunday, August 10th 2025 (12-4pm ET) at the Cranbrook Japanese Garden in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan.

EVENT HOSTS: Our Michigan Bon Summer Festival 2025 is a community event co-hosted by Great Lakes Taiko Center (GLTC) and the Cranbrook Center for Collections and Research (CCCR).

FESTIVAL ACTIVITIES: Garden tours, cultural booths with activities for all ages, and vendors offering snacks and merchandise, will be open from 12-4pm.

PROGRAM FEATURES: MI Bon Dancing for all will take place in the meadow at 1pm & 3pm. Great Lakes Taiko Drumming performance will begin at 2pm.

LOCATION: Festivities will be held on the historic grounds of the Cranbrook Japanese Garden (indoors at the Center for Performing Arts in case of rain) with FREE parking/shuttle at 550 Lone Pine Rd, Bloomfield Hills, MI 48304.
