SUN 11/9 Morning: Private or Small Group Lesson w/Eien sensei

10-11am slot at Rudolf Steiner HS: Eien sensei is available to teach a private or semi-private lesson for any level player/s.

Topics for instruction may include: Taiko, Shinobue, Atarigane, Edo Bayashi, Percussion, Drumset, Composition (eienhunterishikawa.com)

Open to all GLTC and taiko community members

SUN 11/9 (2 hrs): Japanese Knife Sharpening Workshop

12:30pm-2:30pm at Rudolf Steiner HS: Learn and practicer the basics of Japanese knife sharpening on water stones with our guest artist Eien Hunter-Ishikawa.

Open to Public (limit of 15 participants)

SUN 11/9 (3pm): Shishimai Performance & Workshop in Ann Arbor

3:00-4:30pm at Rudolf Steiner HS (gym): Shishimai (Japanese Lion Dance) performance by guest artist Eien Hunter-Ishikawa with MI Shishimai Kai ensemble, followed by an informative presentation and interactive workshop.
