Experience & Enjoy Japanese Culture at the Novi Japan Festival ‘23 and celebrate this annual community event!

EVENT: Novi Japan Festival 2023 (free admission)

DATE/TIME: Sunday, October 8th 2023 1-4pm

LOCATION: Novi High School, 24062 Taft Rd, Novi, MI 48375 (indoor event)

The Novi Japan Festival is cohosted by the Japan Business Society of Detroit (JBSD) and the Japan Women’s Club (JWC), and supported by: Japan America Society of Michigan and Southwestern Ontario, Consulate General of Japan in Detroit, Shiga Prefecture Japan, City of Novi, Novi Community School District.

• Taiko Drumming >>> Our Godaiko Drummers will be presenting opening and closing performances (~1:15pm & 3:15pm in the gym)!

• Kendo (Japanese Martial Arts)

• Koto Performance

• Nihon-Buyou (Japanese Traditional Dance)

• Japanese Songs and Dance

Cultural Workshops:

• Tea Ceremony

• Origami

• Calligraphy
