Spring 2021: Music Mondays!

Taiko class on Monday is about making music!

DATES: 4/5, 4/12, 4/19; 5/3, 5/10, 5/17, 5/24; 6/7, 6/14
Experiment with making your own taiko music and learn more about the creative process through conversation and examples. Led by Ash Brown (and assistant Eileen Ho) of Raion Taiko, this class will provide opportunities to collaborate as a group on a new taiko piece, to complete and discuss short at-home composition challenges, and to share your own music and ideas with others. Whether you're an experienced composer or just starting out, let's support and encourage one another as we make taiko music! Includes instruction and a complimentary account on Flat.io online music notation software.

If you were in Elements of Music & Taiko, joining Taiko Music Lab will give you a great chance to apply some of what you've already learned! Note: students will have access to previous and future recordings of both music classes, so it is possible to enroll at any time and participate in class!
