Spring 2021: Worldwide Matsuri!
Celebrate the generous spirit of taiko with “Worldwide Matsuri” by Shoji Kameda. This piece is a global festival of rhythm and groove which gives us a chance to develop our sense of connection as taiko players whether we are together from home or in class or sharing with others around the world! #EmpoweredbykaDON
Spring 2021 kaDON Study @GLTC-Online: Eileen Ho & Larry An of Raion Taiko will lead a guided study following the online course at https://kadon.com/course/worldwide-matsuri. Eileen will be leading this online class incorporating body percussion methods on Zoom (and Larry will be leading a concurrent outdoor class on gomidaiko practice drums @Ann Arbor, MI) which takes place on the first three Tuesdays in April, May, and June from 7:00-7:45pm EDT. Options for bachi sticks and taiko drums to play on at home will be provided as needed. Recordings of this online class as well as other class materials will be made available to students of both online & outdoor classes. #TaikoTuesdays
